When you are starting your search for the perfect nanny it is best to make alist of the duties and responsibilities you will require and discuss them in detail during your interview process to make sure there is amutual understanding. If you ask for additional services like light housekeeping, grocery shopping etc. make sure the nanny knows the child always comes first. If you have school aged children these extra tasks can be done while the children are gone and are not out of the ordinary.
First Class Care nannies make between $12-$20 an hour depending on hours, experience, number of children and other benefits. We can help you design an employment agreement that meets both the needs of your family and the nanny. Make sure and start the relationship off right with your nanny by working through all the terms of your employment agreement prior to the starting date. Make a schedule before she starts to show her what may be required in a typical month. Your agreement should also include scheduled times to sit down and discuss how things are going. Open communication is key in keeping a lasting relationship with your nanny. She is now part of your family. Nannies do a difficult and very important job and appreciate when they are acknowledged for doing so.
First Class Care's fee for all placements of Full or Part time nannies is 10% of the nanny's first year's gross wages. We offer a 6 month replacement guarantee and for the first 30 days, you can choose either a replacement nanny or a refund (less 25% of gross wages paid).
